  • Franchises in Washington are regulated by the Securities Division of the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions. You are required to register your franchise with this entity.
  • The initial filing fee to register a franchise in Washington is $600.
  • The renewal fee to register a franchise is $100, and you must renew your FDD registration no later than 15 business days before your current registration expires.
  • In your application, you must also include a salesman disclosure form and financial statements with your accountant’s consent.
